Men's "Canyonlands" Ventilated Dry-Weather Long Sleeve Shirt

The trail-ready shirt with an exhale

Named for Canyonlands National Park in eastern Utah, this is our flagship hot-weather button-up: 100% woven hemp built for 100°F+ / 40ºC days and years of hard use, with our most aggressive venting pattern to move heat fast and a clean band collar that looks at home from desert overlooks to city streets.

Features & Fit

Everglades - Men's Short-Sleeve Shirt in Chamisa (Tan) (close up)
  • Superior cooling & ventilation: Hidden side-seam slits, concealed ventilating mesh under the back yoke, and underarm mesh create a chimney effect that moves heat off your body, keeping you several degrees cooler than cotton or polyester.
  • Built for extreme heat: 100% woven hemp with an open, breathable structure that still works when temps climb above 90°F and conventional synthetics start to feel swampy.
  • Natural sun shield: Dense, chemical-free weave delivering strong UV protection so your shoulders, arms, and upper back stay protected all day.
  • Breaks in, not down: Tough hemp fibers resist abrasion and sagging, softening over time while holding their shape – more like your favorite boots than a cheap polyester layer
  • Fit: Relaxed through the shoulders and body for airflow without feeling sloppy; lands just below the hip for coverage that doesn't ride up
  • Intended use: Hot-weather hiking, travel, and everyday wear in 90°F+ / 30ºC+ conditions, particularly for arid to semi-arid heat

Before You Buy

  • Will it show sweat? It depends on the color. Desert Willow white shows almost nothing, and Chamisa tan very little. Agave green shows more, and Blue Sage shows the most. Hemp dries considerably faster than cotton and doesn't trap heat the way synthetics do, and the ventilation panels speed that up (so sweat marks that would linger in most shirts tend to go away faster). If visible sweat bothers you, white or tan is the safe bet. But if you're reaching for Blue Sage or Agave green, what you're seeing is just evidence of a hot day and the realities of certain color tones.

  • How see-through is it? All colorways are fully opaque when dry. When wet from sweat, the Desert Willow white can become somewhat sheer (this is normal for any light-colored woven fabric, including cotton and linen). Midtone and dark colorways stay opaque even when wet.

  • How does it feel when perspiring? It feels different than a synthetic shirt, and that's by design. Our fabrics absorb moisture rather than repelling it, so the fabric will feel heavier than polyester when you're sweating. But polyester traps that moisture against your skin and holds onto heat. Cotton absorbs moisture too, but holds it longer and gets clingy. Linen is the closest comparison (it's also a plant fiber that absorbs and releases moisture), but our fabrics are more durable and hold their shape better when wet.
