Perfectly Imprefect™ is our way of refusing the industry norm of discarding perfectly good garments for minor cosmetic quirks.
Industry standard allows for a 5% defect rate before garments even ship—mis-sewn buttons, fabric tears, misaligned panels. Because we craft each piece in small batches by hand with rigorous quality control, our defect rate is lower. But even our meticulous process will occasionally identify minor imperfections.
Every garment is inspected by three different people – unrushed. When a brand new piece doesn’t meet our cosmetic bar but still meets our performance bar, we set it aside as a Perfectly Imprefect™ piece of gear.

- A faint line or mark in the fabric
- Not seconds or damaged goods
- Not compromised seams or structural issues
- Not stains or permanent discoloration
- Not anything that affects function or longevity
Why We Do It

Most brands bake the cost of scrapped garments into everyone's prices to preserve their image of "perfection." If we did the same, we'd have two options: raise prices across the board so perfect pieces subsidize the scrapped ones, or cut corners somewhere else, whether it be materials, labor wages, or craftsmanship.
